The polls have ended and more than 70 million of votes have counted to choose the new seven wonders.

This results places Mexico and our history on the map, even if this results only reflects the point of view of people which have access to Internet that makes me feel nice and happy about my country.

Now for the people who doesn’t have a clue about Chichén Itzá, here is a short text (by n7w):

Chichén Itzá: ls the most famous Mayan temple city, served as the political and economic center of the Mayan civilization.

Its various structures – the pyramid of Kukulkan, the Temple of Chac Mool, the Hall of the Thousand Pillars, and the Playing Field of the Prisoners – can still be seen today and are demonstrative of an extraordinary commitment to architectural space and composition. The pyramid itself was the last, and arguably the greatest, of all Mayan temples.

Also to continue with this happy weekend, México won 6-0 vs Paraguay on the America Coup and also the Sub20 won vs New Zeland by 2-1.

Very Exciting weekend!
